Its stabilizing action on the minerals, which cause hardness in water, is based on its capacity to impede the growth of mineral deposits thus extending both the life of a heating coil and the time between acid cleanings. For units with output of 2.1-3.5 GPM Set pulse generator at 32-55 seconds. For units with output of 3.5-5.3 GPM Set pulse generator at 10-50 seconds.
